US
Dr. Jihane Abou Rahal is an assistant professor of dermatology at the American University of Beirut – Medical Center (AUBMC). She has a subspecialty in Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology. She is a certified member of the European Society of Mohs Surgeons.
Dr. Abou Rahal has extensive experience in the core parts of dermatology:
- Medical dermatology: skin diseases and treatment.
- Skin surgeries, reconstructions and skin cancer.
- Mohs micrographic surgery.
- Cosmetics: fillers, botulinum toxin, micro-needling, peels and others.
She is currently based at AUBMC and KMC where she divides her time between seeing patients, teaching residents and doing research.
After earning her medical degree and dermatology residency from the American University of Beirut, Dr. Abou Rahal sub-specialized in Surgical Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic surgery at the University Hospital of Bordeaux, France. In parallel, she pursued an Inter-University Diploma in surgical dermatology in France. Upon returning to Lebanon, she helped establish the Mohs micrographic surgery unit at AUBMC.
On top of her subspecialty, Dr. Abou Rahal further pursued training in cosmetics in the UK in advanced Botulinum toxins and Dermal Fillers.
She is also a member of multiple national and international medical societies:
